- My artwork is created through the process of feeling. I believe the value of my pieces can be found on their path to completion, to closure. My paintings may echo the spontaneous rise and fall of happiness or festering sore of anger, longing and anxiety. I do so by indulging in vivid and contrasting color. I am frequently seduced by the color red and often succeed at abusing it in all its variations. As I am relatively new to painting, I plan to continue to find new techniques and meaning in my art as I pursue a career in Art Therapy.
